This site is dedicated to our loving mother, Elida Sevier
Martinez. It's been a year since we lost you Ama, and it seems like it was just yesterday, not one day goes
by that you are not in our hearts and in our minds. Soon we will be together again as a family.

Our mother Elida was born in Pearson, Texas on April
23, 1925 to Fred and Isidra Sevier, she was the oldest of eight children. She met and married Aurelio Martinez Sr.,
of Lytle, Tx on June 25, 1940. Together they had twelve children, six of which preceded her in death. Before
she became ill with diabetes she loved to cook, clean, crochet and spend time with her children. As her children grew
up and went on their own and had families she was always elated to become a grandma. Each time a new grandchild was
born it was like it was the first time. She was a very friendly person she never had anything bad to say about anyone
she made friends everywhere she went. In the next few pages you can view pictures of some family members.
